The talks about this "bad and expensive" battery come from those who can't afford expensive and worthy purchases. Good, TECHNOLOGICAL things don't come cheap. The optimal option for an urban diesel. I drive short distances: more starts than time to charge the battery. Tried all types of Bosch, Varta. Not impressed. I've been using this battery for a year and a half: DELIGHTED. No problems starting at -22C (M51 tds). In summer, even a "long" start is no issue (when the injection pump isn't fresh). Other batteries didn't last long in these conditions. VERY happy with the purchase. Recommend! It's NOT needed for owners of a Logan or something low-budget (no offense to the car brand!). Bosch 5S A 011-80 Ah 800 A - from Germany, straight from the factory - 5+ years warranty. Promised 12 years with proper use. Installed it and started the diesel 25 times in a row. From 12.5v it went to 12.47v. The Germans don't use the Czech one themselves. By weight, the factory one with the same parameters is 21.1 kg. This one is 25.4 kg. Dimensions are the same. Warranty down to -45 degrees. The case (plastic) is all glittery - looks nice. Starts the car. I sleep peacefully. The cost with delivery is 300 gr more expensive than 4S on the market. Very heavy.
