Model overview based on user reviews
The Bosch EasyCut 12 06033C9001 is a highly portable and lightweight chainsaw, praised for its mobility and almost complete absence of vibration. It offers accurate fine cuts and can function as both a jigsaw and a reciprocating saw. Users appreciate its easy blade replacement and the oil-free design that requires no special maintenance. However, some users note the narrow selection of saw blades and the short blade length as limitations. The battery life is also a concern, with suggestions to have at least two batteries for extended use. Despite these minor drawbacks, the tool is considered well-built and powerful, making it an excellent choice for garden tasks like pruning trees. The compact size and good sawing speed further enhance its appeal, making it a favorite among users who appreciate technically advanced gadgets.
Pros
Cons
Well built, small compact size, sufficient power for work. Blades are changed quickly and easily, vibration is practically not felt. I use it as a reciprocating saw and jigsaw and am happy with the work. Assembly, power no |
A small, powerful unit with good sawing speed. Convenient handle, good capacious battery. I got it for pruning trees in the garden – satisfied with the work. Pretty powerful, compact, good battery No |
There were two tasks. The first - just in case - was to have a saw in the car, in case something blocks the road. The second was pruning several apple trees that had been neglected for over 10 years. That is, a lot of cutting high up was needed, but the diameters were relatively small. A chainsaw was very inconvenient. A handsaw could work, but it's the 21st century. A reciprocating saw was also disappointing due to vibration and the need to hold the branch with a second hand. There was nothing else to rely on. I went online and found this wonder. I love these technically beautiful gadgets! And my wife liked working with it so much that she also trimmed an oak tree. Mobility. Light weight. Almost complete absence of vibration. Accurate fine cut. Can work as both a jigsaw and a reciprocating saw. The first canvas remained in working order after two apple trees and an oak tree. 1. Narrow selection of saw blades and short blade length. It's understandable that such a blade cannot be very long, but an extra three to four centimeters would be nice... 2. Battery. And multiple issues at that. Firstly, short battery life. That is to say, the same battery in a screwdriver, unless used on the assembly line, would last plenty long. For this saw, at least two are necessary. And here's the second issue. The battery and charger are indeed compatible with the previous 10.8V lineup. So, if you are the owner of a 2-3 year old blue Bosch, you might think you've found a cost-effective solution: just get the Easycut12 without the battery and case, and go to work! But no! The batteries have small covers with clips on the tool body, and they are not interchangeable. You can't just use the existing battery as is. However, if you carefully remove and detach the cover (instructions can be found on YouTube) and replace it with something else using a glue gun, you can actually use the old batteries. Though, with prolonged use, they might fall out as they are held in place only by the friction of the contact group. But in principle, that’s not a major issue. use Bosch EasyCut 12 06033C9020 few months |
