Model overview based on user reviews
The Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones are highly praised for their excellent noise reduction and wonderful sound quality, making them a top choice for everyday use. Users appreciate the comfortable fit, which allows for extended listening without discomfort. The headphones boast a long battery life, although some users noted a desire for a USB-C charging port instead of the current microUSB, which takes 2-3 hours to charge. The build quality is robust, with no significant issues reported over extended use. However, the short audio cable and the use of a 2.5 mm connector are seen as drawbacks. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall performance and features, such as support for AAC codecs and multipoint connectivity, make the Bose QuietComfort 35 II a highly recommended choice for those seeking premium headphones.

great model, love it
6 November 2020
I've been using these headphones for more than six months, and I can confidently say that these are some of the best headphones I've ever used in my life. Great sound, good noise reduction, good battery. During use, nothing broke in them. I had experience using Marshall Monitor Bluetooth and both pairs broke within six months. And with these - nothing (only recently a slight squeak of plastic appeared, but this is not critical).
Good sound, excellent noise reduction, they themselves are made perfectly (nothing loose or about to break off). The battery can withstand 2-3 days of continuous operation. I would also like to note that after listening to music for a long time, my ears do not hurt, because... The ombres do not press down, but hug, which is why they are comfortable to wear. If you need headphones that will eliminate all extraneous sounds except music with the click of your fingers, then this is one of the best options.
The 3.5 mini jack wire was a little disappointing, because... the second plug is 2.5 mm (such wires are not always available). Plus, I would like the power connector to be USB-C, because... They charge quite a long time from a regular Micro USB (2-3 hours). Also... I wouldn't call it a drawback, but the headphones take some getting used to. They are mostly kept not on the ears, but on the top of the head, which is why it will be uncomfortable at first, but this will go away later.

Active noise cancellation that works

Active noise canceling headphones are great in every way. The problem is that making a truly working noise reduction system is not so easy. Often, with noise reduction, part of the music is killed, then the noise, on the contrary, is amplified or parasitic overtones come out. Luckily, Bose got the dog on this case, so if you're looking for one, be sure to check out the popular QuietComfort 35 II. They have an excellent audiophile sound, chic ergonomics and a fairly simple but extremely effective noise reduction system from a pair of conventional microphones and an antiphase creation algorithm. In these you will not even hear the noise of a subway car or a concert of street musicians.

Stylish and restrained

Like many Bose models, the QuietComfort 35 II looks stylish but understated. Pleasant to the touch, but slightly easily soiled plastic, soft leather ear cushions and a headband covered with suede — nothing screams about the $400 price tag. It is much more important that the landing here is 5 plus, moderately strong, moderately soft, with the correct distribution of pressure on the ears and head. These are one of the few closed-back headphones that can be worn on the head all day with short breaks.

audiophile sound

In terms of sound, this is a solid five, you don’t expect anything else from Bose headphones for $400. Engineers have tuned the Bose QuietComfort 35 II speakers to sound velvety, with good detail, and with pronounced mids and highs. The bass is confident and collected, the sound stage is wide and spacious. This sound is easy to listen to for hours without fatigue.

I was pleased that the headphones digest all genres in the same way — they do not have dominant character traits that would be transmitted to each song. And, probably, this is good, because everyone has their own preferences in terms of sound. Of the codecs, Apple's AAC is supported, but when using an Android smartphone without Hi-res audio, we did not notice any drop in quality.

Wire is short

Against the backdrop of all the compliments to the headphones, in fact, the only complaint we have is the length of the replaceable audio cable. It is unforgivably short, as if someone was trying to twist a rope from the remaining pieces and escape from the Bose factory. It would be possible to buy a new one more authentic, but the problem is that, on the one hand, there is not a 3.5, but a 2.5 format output. And finding such a cable will not be easy. But from the additional goodies there is NFC for quick connection with a smartphone, support for voice assistants from Amazon and Google, as well as a multipoint function for simultaneously connecting to several sound sources.
