Two cables are included: for a smartphone and for a camera.
Budget model for a camera, camcorder, or mobile devices. It includes a cable with a TRRS 4-pin connector and a "hot shoe" mount for connecting to cameras, and a cable with a TRS 3-pin "tail end" (essentially a classic 3.5 mm mini-Jack) for smartphones. The cable length is 60 cm. The BOYA BY-MM1 covers a sound frequency range from 35 Hz to 18 kHz, with a sensitivity of -42 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 78 dB.
The microphone capsule is omnidirectional and captures sounds from all directions with full sensitivity. For shooting in windy conditions, the model comes with a removable "furry" windscreen. An anti-vibration mount reduces unwanted microphone shaking. The model is housed in a durable metal body with dimensions of 81x21x21 mm and weighs only 86 g. Finally, it is important to note that the microphone does not require external power, allowing it to be used with a variety of recorders.
