An excellent, affordable and versatile choice for connoisseurs of quality sound

I bought this microphone for recording let's plays and it really impressed me a lot.
1. Incredibly clear, rich sound; the frequency response is at a perfect level.
2. It has no self-noise.
3. Noise reduction works at a respectable level.
4. The microphone is extremely easy to set up and use, even a child can handle it.
5. Versatility of use: you can record podcasts, streams, let's plays, and even songs, and everything will sound equally great, rich, and clean!
6. Price. For such a price, it has a built-in sound card, a headphone jack, real-time zero-latency monitoring, and a very rich package.
7. Appearance. The microphone has a stylish design and at the same time does not take up much space, making it a great addition to the overall interior of the room/studio.
And in general, Rode is Rode everywhere, what else is there to say.
Clear, rich sound; Lack of own noise; Excellent working noise reduction; Ergonomic and easy to use; Design; Equipment.
For the price it's a perfect microphone, it has no flaws.

The Australian company Rode specializes in the production of microphones, accessories for them, as well as specialized software for audio. The $230 NT-USB studio microphone is suitable not only for voice streaming, but also for recording vocals and live instruments.

Flawless in appearance

The black product is made of metal. It is mounted on a plastic tripod that comes with the kit. The swivel holder provides a comfortable position of the device, and the adapter allows you to install it on different types of racks. Pleased with the presence of a pop filter in the configuration. The microphone is delivered in a soft case made of artificial leather, so it is easy to transport.

To match inside

Connection to a computer is via a detachable 6-metre USB cable. No drivers are needed, the microphone is ready to work out of the box. The device records sound coming only from the front (cardioid), while remaining insensitive to sources from the rear, which allows you to achieve clean, intelligible recording without extraneous noise and with excellent frequency balance.

The NT-USB has a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones, and the volume in them is easily and smoothly adjusted with a rotary control. The second knob is for adjusting the balance between the sound volume from the computer and the level of the microphone recording.

Rode NT-USB is an excellent model that has proven itself for at least 4 years. And it looks solid, and writes to match. For performant and long-term work — an unambiguous "must-have".
