The mid-range CATEYE brand flasher is a versatile bicycle accessory for enhancing safety during night and daytime rides. The model is equipped with three LEDs that provide a maximum light output of 300 lm. In addition, there's the signature OptiCube lens, known for its wide illumination and 300-degree visibility. Therefore, the bike light will be noticeable not only from the back but also from the sides.

The CATEYE ViZ 300 flasher supports 4 operating modes, including a constant light at 30 lm brightness, flashes, the combined Daytime Hyperflash mode, and a special Group Ride mode for group rides. The latter is designed not to blind other peloton participants. The bike light is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a charge level indicator and an auto-switch to flashing mode when the battery is low, powered by USB, with a recharge time of 3 hours. The battery should provide a total autonomy of 5 to 45 hours. Noteworthy features include IPX4 water resistance, lightweight overall weight (less than 50 grams), quick mounting on various seat posts, including aerodynamic (kammtail), and the Snap system, which allows the light to be mounted both vertically and horizontally.
