CATEYE ViZ 150

The CATEYE brand flasher is a mid-range bicycle accessory released in 2025. This model is positioned as a fairly powerful light source (claimed luminous flux up to 150 lm), which is made in a lightweight (27 grams) and compact body (height 6.3 cm). It uses three diodes and the proprietary OptiCube lens, providing wide coverage of 300 degrees, ensuring excellent side visibility for the bike.

The CATEYE ViZ 150 rear bike light supports 4 operating modes, including constant, flashing, and combined lighting (Daytime Hyperflash), as well as a special cycle for Group Ride events, preventing blinding other peloton participants. The flasher is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which should provide 5 to 70 hours of autonomy. A special indicator warns of a low battery level, and the charging cycle itself is performed via a USB port and will last approximately 3 hours. Other features of the accessory include memory for the last settings upon reactivation, automatic switch to economical flashing at low battery levels, easy mounting on various types of bicycle seat posts, and the proprietary Snap system. With the latter, the light can be fixed both vertically and horizontally.
