Overclocking works great, XMP started without problems, does not get hot. 3600 on R5 1600 they still didn't want to take (although a friend of mine has Samsung B-die with R7 1700 and they also don't take 3600, maybe Zen 1 is the limit) |
Excellent RAM, the best for the money. I advise everyone to take it. Well worth the money. It races well, the timing is good. I can say that there are none |
Design plays a significant role
Manufacturers of RAM often find it challenging to stand out among a multitude of competitors — there are few specifications, and the set of tasks is quite limited. Therefore, when it comes to gaming modules, designers step in. Recently, Crucial updated its Ballistix Sport RAM line, releasing the colorful Ballistix Sport LT series, featuring an albino model with a white-colored PCB and heatsink.
Standard frequency 3200 MHz
The module boasts 8 GB of memory, operates at an effective frequency of 3200 MHz with delays of 16-18-18, and a voltage of 1.35 V typical for overclocking modules. Nevertheless, this lineup is not targeted at overclockers. It's more of a "set it and forget it" product for users who want fast and high-performance memory but do not plan to tweak timings or go through XMP profiles.
Unusual combination of price and features
If you want to raise the clock frequency, the possibilities are limited: the test sample could only be overclocked by 16%. But considering the price of $65 and the standard frequency of 3200 MHz, the Ballistix Sport LT appears to be a very fair option in the memory market — there aren't many modules with such a combination of price and features. Kingston HyperX Fury is one of the few that come to mind.

In general, I hoped that they would start up at least at 3200, but they pleasantly surprised me.
P.S. DRAM Calculator gives inadequate presets at "Calculate fast", they only worked for 3200 and 3266; at higher frequencies only the "Calculate safe" presets were launched - it is better to set them first.
