The Dell Inspiron 17 5770 features a minimalist design, more suitable for an office, yet at the same time offers good performance, provided by a modern processor.
The model is equipped with a 17-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels), which delivers high contrast (1550:1), wide viewing angles, and excellent color accuracy. This makes the laptop comfortable to use both at home and outdoors.
Powerful 8th generation Core i7
The laptop comes with a quad-core 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with a maximum clock speed of 4 GHz and 8 MB of third-level cache memory. Video processing is handled by the Radeon 530 chip, which has 4 GB of video memory on one hand, but rather mediocre performance on the other. For comparison, the popular GeForce MX 150 in this price segment delivers almost one and a half times higher frame rates in games.

However, the DDR4 RAM size is a very respectable 16 GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB. Moreover, the memory "stick" can be added to the one already installed, as the laptop has 2 RAM slots. The total disk array size is 2256 GB, of which 256 GB is accounted by a high-speed SSD drive, sufficient for much more than just the system installation. All this makes the Inspiron 17 5770 an excellent multimedia and work laptop with the added bonus of being able to play the latest gaming hits.
For connectivity, the Inspiron 17 5770 includes a modern set of ports: HDMI, 4 USB ports (including USB-C), a card reader, and, unnecessarily, a DVD drive. Perhaps the main drawback of the laptop is its cooling system, which is noticeably noisy and inefficient at expelling hot air from the case during prolonged usage.
