Battery operated universal chain saw
The DeWALT DCM565N cordless saw is equally suitable for both domestic tasks and professional use on a construction site. Of course, it is not capable of felling wood (with a tire length of 300 mm, the maximum diameter of the sawn log, according to the operating instructions, is 260 mm). But with its help you can cut to size the boards and beams necessary for constructing the frame of a wooden house or roof truss system, trim branches of already fallen trees before sawing the trunk into logs, take care of the garden or cut firewood, adjusting them to the size of the firebox of a stove, buleryan or wood fireplace.
Brand quality
The saw is made with the same quality and sound quality as screwdrivers of the same brand. The tool has a moderate weight (3.5 kg excluding the weight of the battery), good weight distribution (when carried by the top handle it does not tilt forward or backward), a soft anti-slip coating on the rear handle, as well as mechanisms that allow you to attach the blade and tighten the chain without using keys or screwdrivers. The saw set (manufactured by Oregon) is automatically lubricated during operation. But the most important and interesting is inside the case. Hidden there is a brushless motor - a highly efficient electric motor that has many advantages over traditionally designed motors: increased power, high reliability and the ability to “squeeze” maximum energy from the battery.
The bigger the battery, the better
By the way, about batteries: the DeWALT DCM565N saw is sold in the form of a “carcass”. That is, it will fall into your hands without a charger and battery (the kit only includes a plastic protective cover for the tire). The manufacturer recommends using a high-capacity battery to achieve maximum performance (after all, cordless saws are very power-hungry tools). According to measurements and tests, a 5 Ah battery is enough to cut a wooden beam measuring 100x100 mm 70 times.
