A professional cordless jigsaw designed for cutting wood (up to 135 mm thick) and sawing aluminum (up to 25 mm), steel (up to 10 mm), plastic and other materials. The tool is equipped with a pendulum mechanism and a counterweight system, which significantly reduces the vibration level during sawing. The saw blade speed (up to 3000 strokes/min) is adjusted by changing the force applied to the trigger.
The DeWALT DCS331M2 jigsaw sole can be tilted in both directions (the mechanism has fixed positions at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45°). Saw blades are fixed in the chuck using a quick-release device. The jigsaw can blow sawdust off the cutting line with an air stream or work in tandem with a vacuum cleaner. The tool comes in a plastic case along with a plastic soleplate, an adapter for connecting a vacuum cleaner, a charger and two DeWALT 18V XR batteries, each with a capacity of 4 Ah.
