A powerful plunge router designed for processing edges and selecting grooves in workpieces made of wood, plastic and soft metals, such as aluminum. The tool can work with cutters up to ⌀50 mm with shanks of ⌀12 mm. The engine has a power of 2300 W. The speed is stepwise adjusted in the range from 9000 to 22000 rpm and is automatically maintained at a given level using constant electronics.

The tool also has a "soft start" function and built-in lighting. The stroke size reaches 80 mm. The depth of the cutter immersion into the material can be precisely adjusted using a micrometer mechanism. In this configuration, the DeWALT DWE625KT router is supplied with a T-STAK plastic case and additional accessories necessary for work. The accessory kit includes a parallel stop with a fine adjustment mechanism, a ⌀30 mm guide sleeve and attachments for removing and collecting dust using a vacuum cleaner.
