An improved version of the foldable, lightweight and compact DJI Mavic Mini quadcopter. It is positioned as a product of the average price category of the sample of 2020. It is one of the best drone options for beginners. Unlike the previous generation model, which supported video recording at a maximum resolution of 2720x1530 pixels, this quadcopter records a video stream of UltraHD/4K resolution at a frame rate of 30 fps.

For improved video clarity, high-quality optics and a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a viewing angle of 83 ° are responsible. It supports the creation of photos in JPEG and DNG RAW formats with a resolution of 4000x3000 pixels. To record photo / video files, microSD memory cards up to 256 GB UHS-I Speed Class 3 (or higher) are used. Built-in motorized mechanical stabilizer reduces shaking, making rollers as smooth as possible.

Four lightweight detachable propellers, driven by durable brushless electric motors, will propel this drone up to 58 km/h. Thanks to such powerful motors, the DJI Mini 2 quadcopter can be launched in winds up to 10.5 m/s. A fully charged regular battery (2S) with a voltage of 7.7 V provides up to 31 minutes of autonomous flight. Also worth mentioning is the improved controller with support for the OcuSync 2.0 protocol, which supports HD video transmission at a distance of up to 10 km.

It flies well, has 3 flight modes: slow for high-quality shooting, normal and high-speed. If it’s too light, gusts of wind at altitudes of 100+ meters will blow it away, don’t launch it in an urban landscape because the GPS signal is very bad or lost, but the main thing is don’t give it to handymen (like me, for example) I smashed a friend’s copter into pieces and now I’m stuck with the full amount (
