Edifier C2XD

The Chinese brand Edifier is actively introducing innovative technologies into the production of its audio systems. As far as he succeeds, consider the example of C2XD computer speakers.

Appearance

In addition to the standard 2.1 set, C2XD includes an external amplifier, which is already a good claim for good sound. The products are made in MDF cases in the original high-tech design (tweeter membranes slightly protrude from the top of the case) with a black matte vinyl finish. Fabric overlays protect the speakers from dust and damage, and also give the speakers solidity.

Control and sound

2-way satellites are rather weak in power — only 9 W each, but the issue of loud and dense sound is solved by a 35-watt subwoofer with a rear phase inverter port and an external amplifier. Volume, bass and treble can be adjusted from the wireless remote control or from the front panel of the amplifier with digital indication. On the rear panel of the amplifier, in addition to the Sub in input, and two pairs of RCA, there is also an AUX and an optical input. On the right side is another AUX and a headphone jack.

The sound of the system is excellent, but very demanding on the placement of the subwoofer. We'll have to find the right place for him so that the speakers sound really "delicious".

Edifier C2XD will be an excellent addition not only to a computer, but also to any wired digital signal source. Excellent intelligibility and completeness of the scene, a large margin of volume, a minimum of distortion. For $150 you can't ask for anything better.
