Good speakers, I take it with me on a business trip, I connect the sound to a laptop much better than through a laptop. I liked that the power connection is via USB.
The price, appearance, power supply via USB, the volume is decent, there are even a little low frequencies. I recommend.

Great speakers, wonderful, balanced sound. The power is sufficient. The first plastic speakers that don't crackle at maximum volume.
Awesome sound (for compact speakers), beautiful design. Thanks to USB power, it can be used outdoors. Headphone jack.

The packaging clearly says: 180 - 20000 Hz. So there can be no talk of any 30 Hz and close.
In general, in the range of medium and high frequencies, the sound is quite clear and detailed.
Well, there are no low words at all.

Best for your money

Edifier R12U is a popular audio system for home and office with a lot of advantages at an affordable price. It has everything to please the user, from a stylish design in different colours, to quite decent sound, which can only be produced by 2-watt 60-mm speakers in the claimed frequency range of 180 – 20,000 Hz. However the volume is better not to lift above 70%. Then everything sounds clear, without wheezing, and very pleasant, as for such babies.

Everything for user comfort

Separately, it is worth noting the phase inverter port, which adds density to the lower midrange, and the headphone output, which makes the system an perfect partner for office work. It is located on the front panel of the main speaker, next to the volume knob and on / off. with indicator light.

The speakers are connected to a PC via mini-Jack (3.5 mm) and USB A (power), and are connected to each other with a thin metre wire, which is enough for comfortable placement on the table.

The only noticeable minus in ergonomics is the rounded shape of the back of the case. Because of it, the speakers easily tip over at every opportunity, even despite the presence of rubberized legs.

Otherwise, the system pleases with almost everything, especially the sound and the price of $18. A great choice for the office or travel.
