A compact color printer from the Fujifilm brand, released in 2023, which is a portable device for instant photo printing in SQUARE format. Thanks to Bluetooth support, photo printing is possible directly from a smartphone using the INSTAX SQUARE Link application. First of all, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the device uses sublimation technology and provides full-color printing in a resolution of 800x800 dpi.
The printer creates photo cards measuring 86x72 mm with a print area of 62x62 mm, which allows you to get square photos with high color rendition and detail. The print speed is only 12 seconds per photo, which makes it ideal for quick shots and photo collages. The device does not have a screen, which makes its operation and settings as simple as possible. Communication with mobile devices is carried out via the Bluetooth 4.2 protocol, providing fast data transfer.
The Micro-USB connection is used exclusively for charging the printer, providing ease of use and portability. The INSTAX SQUARE Link app offers additional creative options including filters, frames and image editing, allowing you to add a personal touch to each photo. The printer has a compact size (128 x 105 x 38 mm) and weighs only 0.24 kg, making it easy to carry and use on the go or at events.

Square print area
The model borrowed the square format of photos from the popular social network Instagram. Photos can be sent for printing directly from this platform. The portable printer can also print images from the memory of a paired smartphone and other social networks. The device communicates with mobile gadgets via the SQUARE Link application.
Room for creativity
The mobile app has tools for editing photos, applying filters and frames, and printing successful frames from videos. The app has a function for overlaying drawings on a photo — the program cuts out a photographed sketch on paper and overlays it on top of the selected photo.
