The advantages are true autonomy and protection from power outages, while the drawbacks are slightly more weight, higher price, and a limited battery lifespan that requires careful storage and replacement after a few years. Compared to regular models that rely entirely on a mains supply or UPS, a printer with a battery maintains flexibility and mobility.
