They are a representative of the new Trident Neo overclocker line, announced at the beginning of 2023. It is positioned by the manufacturer as an advanced assembly solution based on the AMD platform with socket AM5, which came into service at the end of 2022. Instead of the usual XMP technology with built-in settings profiles, it relies on an alternative AMD development called EXPO.

The kit stands out for its speed performance, keeping up with other DDR5 overclocker kits: a clock frequency of 6000 MHz with CL30 latency, a total throughput of 48000 MB/s. It is worth noting that this is almost 2 times higher than the DDR-3200 modules that dominated the market in 2022. G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 2x32Gb sticks are equipped with stylish black metal radiators with asymmetric combs. The use of thick heatsinks allows enthusiasts not to worry too much about overheating of the memory chips during overclocking. In general, this memory is ideal for solving heavy professional tasks such as 3D modeling, mathematical calculations, compiling, working with visual content, etc. In games, the difference with DDR4 is not as impressive.
