The Gigabyte A520M K V2 is a simple and budget micro-ATX motherboard designed for the AMD AM4 platform and based on the entry-level A520 chipset. Part of the 2023 Gigabyte Ultra Durable line, it is an affordable option for building inexpensive computers with Ryzen 3/5/7 processors from the 3000/4000/5000 series. Considering the official price is below $100, it offers the potential user rather modest equipment, a 6-phase processor power subsystem, optimized layout of memory modules, integration of the PCI-E 4.0 data bus and an M.2 port with support for the NVMe protocol.

For memory organization, there are two DDR4 slots with the ability to operate at an increased clock frequency of up to 5100 MHz, and the maximum amount of RAM is 64 GB. To build the disk subsystem, four standard SATA3 connectors and one M.2 port (1xSATA/PCI-E 4x) are provided. The board's network capabilities are limited to a Gigabit network controller from Intel, and audio is processed by a 7.1-channel audio codec from Realtek. Overall, the Gigabyte A520M K V2 provides all the necessary functionality for the budget segment and is perfect for assembling simple office, multimedia or gaming systems.
