With a 22x80mm form factor, it is compatible with laptops, ultrabooks and compact builds, and the lack of a heatsink allows it to be installed in thin cases. A modern 3D TLC NAND layout is used, which provides 500 GB of memory - this is enough for work, study, entertainment or installing specialized software.

Process optimization

Despite its affordable price, the Gigabyte Gen3 2500E G325E500G uses a Phison controller that efficiently distributes data across four PCIe 3.0 lanes. This provides read speeds of up to 2300 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1500 MB/s. Although these are not the highest performance, they still allow you to complete most tasks. Host Memory Buffer technology ensures maximum processing speed is maintained for the first 8 GB of data. File storage security is supported by SMART ECC and TRIM algorithms.

However, the weak point of this model is the relatively low TBW (120 TB), which can limit durability when intensively rewriting large volumes of data. Therefore, this SSD is more suitable for laptops where there is no regular rewriting of large amounts of information.
