The Goodyear UltraGrip Arctic 2 tire is designed to ensure safety while driving on the roads of Northern and Eastern Europe, as well as in the Baltic countries in harsh winter conditions.
Improved quality
This model replaces the previous tire from the Goodyear range - UltraGrip Ice Arctic. The second generation of the tire has a more directional tread pattern with wide drainage channels that widen towards the tire shoulders for more effective self-cleaning of snow and water. In addition, the optimized placement of studs on the tread surface has reduced noise levels (by approximately 9% compared to the previous model).
Arctic Eagle Claw Stud
This tire is equipped with sharp Arctic Eagle Claw Studs, which ensure that the anti-skid studs are securely held in special holes. Snow Grip technology, with a high density of cutting edges in the central part of the tread, provides excellent grip on snow and short braking distances on icy roads. As a result, the driver receives sensitive and reactive vehicle control.
Frost-resistant rubber compound
The rubber mixture of the model includes additives that increase the wear resistance and frost resistance of the tire. Even at very low temperatures, the tire remains elastic and continues to perform its functions reliably. Polymer compounds in the rubber compound also give the tire additional strength. Goodyear UltraGrip Arctic 2 is a premium studded tire with outstanding traction on snow, ice, wet and dry winter road surfaces.
