In the office, the old Canon MFP finally broke down, and honestly, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and I was the happiest of all. You can't imagine how much it tested our patience. Its paper feed mechanism from the tray broke down three times, and after each repair, it worked well for no more than a month. Can you imagine the joy of printing multi-page documents in manual feed mode? In short, I took this HP device as a replacement. In principle, Canon also makes this type of equipment for HP, but this is a different generation and a higher class device. A good office machine with a decent maximum monthly printing capacity. We typically run about 2.5-3 thousand pages through it every month, and it's designed for a peak of 30 thousand. So, its durability is quite impressive, even if you consider that the 30 thousand figure might be exaggerated by the manufacturer (which they tend to do). The high printing speed is especially pleasing, reaching 26-28 pages per minute. Just the other day, I was printing inventory lists and timed it: the first page came out in about 7 seconds, and the last, the 121st page, appeared shortly before the stopwatch hit the five-minute mark. There's a convenient paper feed system consisting of two trays: the main one for 250 sheets and a small priority feed tray for 10 sheets, useful when you need to print something on the back. However, this MFP supports automatic duplex printing, so the need for that doesn’t arise often. It operates as a network printer in a workgroup but can connect to individual desktops via USB. The flatbed scanner is standard, of average quality, suitable for documents. The cartridge included in the delivery contains toner for only 1600 copies, which isn't even funny for an office machine. I bought two high-capacity ones with 3200 each and sent them in for refilling, which costs 350 UAH through wire transfer. It's not cheap, but the cartridge is chipped, so I can't service it myself. |
