Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Core i3 Ivy Bridge series, particularly the i3-3220 model, is praised for its low TDP and integrated Intel HD2500 Graphics, making it a suitable choice for undemanding users and office PCs. Users appreciate its decent performance and the ability to handle tasks efficiently, with one noting it delivers 40-50 FPS in CS:GO. The processor is also noted for its low heat emission, allowing even a box cooler to suffice. While it may not be ideal for high-end gaming, it offers a good balance of performance and efficiency for everyday use. Some users suggest a price reduction could enhance its value, but overall, it remains a reliable choice for those seeking a stable and efficient processor.
Pros
Cons
It's been in the computer for about 8 years, a good option because the processor itself is decent, even at this moment. Liked: low heat emission (even a box cooler can be installed and everything will be fine), 3.3 GHz, and multi-core. Delivers 40-50 or even 80 FPS in CS:GO. You can comfortably play 1.6 on it. Cons: they definitely exist, but I haven't found them. |
I've been using it for almost half a year, and compared to the Athlon X2 6000+, it's like night and day. If you're not picky, it's excellent in every way. 1) Small TDP. 2) No pins on the CPU. 3) Integrated core (useful while replacing the graphics card). 4) Decent test performance. 5) Can be slightly overclocked through a utility or BIOS. 3) Could have dropped the price by 700-1000 RUB. |
