14-core mid-range processor, released as part of the 13th generation Intel chips under the codename Raptor Lake. Manufactured using an optimized 10nm process, it is designed for installation in mid-range gaming and workstation systems equipped with a motherboard featuring the LGA 1700 socket. It belongs to the mid-price segment, targeting gamers, streamers, coders, and visual content professionals who do not require the power of a 16-core Core i7 or 24-core Core i9. The Raptor Lake architecture feature lies in dividing the active cores into two groups (powerful and energy-efficient) for load optimization, as is common in mobile ARM processors.
Thus, the Intel Core i5-13600KF BOX includes 6 powerful Raptor Cove cores and 8 energy-efficient Gracemont cores. The powerful cores operate at clock speeds from 3.5 to 5.1 GHz and are utilized in demanding computational tasks. Additionally, they support Hyper-Threading technology, allowing each core to simultaneously handle two computing threads, significantly enhancing overall processor performance.
The energy-efficient Gracemont cores activate for simple background tasks. Their operating frequency range is from 2.6 to 3.9 GHz. Unlike past generation Core i5 chips, this model can work with both the familiar DDR4 memory and the new DDR5 class memory. The maximum clock rate for DDR4 is 3200 MHz, while for DDR5 ― 5600 MHz. The maximum supported memory capacity is 128 GB. The declared thermal design power is 125 W, which can increase to 181 W under peak load.

This processor is still relevant! I bought it in the summer of '24, and it was a couple of thousand cheaper than its successor 14600k at the time, so I got it. In terms of performance, it's better than the Ryzen 7700.
