The mid-range processor line Intel Core Ultra 5 (code name Arrow Lake) represents a major update to Intel's lineup, featuring a range of improvements over previous models. According to the manufacturer, the introduction of the Intel "Core Ultra" brand is driven by the desire to announce a new era of development for Intel processors. The Core Ultra processors are built on Intel's latest architecture, offering not just more cores but also enhanced integration of AI features, boosting their performance in machine learning, data processing, and other high-complexity computing tasks.

The Intel Core Ultra 5 Arrow Lake family includes several processors with the same core configuration: 6 performance P-cores Lion Cove and 8 energy-efficient E-cores Skymont. The P-cores can turbo up to 5.2 GHz, while the E-cores operate at frequencies from 3.6 to 4.6 GHz. This series lacks support for Hyper-Threading technology, which is compensated by the increased total number of cores.

To accelerate AI-related tasks, the processors are equipped with dedicated NPU blocks with a claimed performance of 13 TOPS. These blocks are designed to enhance the efficiency of working with AI algorithms, including image processing, text generation, and other resource-intensive operations.
