Available 6-core processors for desktop systems from the Intel Core 10th generation CPU family (Comet Lake core, 14 nm). Unlike the 6-core models of the 9th generation, all processors in this line feature increased clock speeds and support Intel's proprietary Hyper-Threading technology, which allows each physical core to execute two computation threads simultaneously (up to 12 threads in total).

This ensures a significant performance boost in demanding professional tasks and in modern games. These CPUs can be used to equip entry-level affordable workstations, versatile home PCs, and balanced gaming systems of reasonable cost. They work with DDR4-2133/2400/2666 memory up to 128 GB in dual-channel mode. All Intel Core i5 Comet Lake processors (except the F-series) have an integrated UHD Graphics 630 graphics core, providing a basic level of 3D performance, hardware video decoding, and allows for creating complete PC configurations without discrete graphics cards. Core i5 K-series processors, featuring an unlocked multiplier, can serve as an excellent basis for overclocking configurations targeted at budget-conscious enthusiasts.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Core i5 Comet Lake series offers a range of processors that are highly praised for their performance, affordability, and cooling efficiency. Users appreciate the excellent productivity and gaming capabilities, with many noting significant FPS improvements in games like Battlefield 5 and Metro Exodus. The processors are described as cold and efficient, often not requiring advanced cooling solutions. While some users mention the price as a potential downside, they generally find it justified given the performance. The i5-10600K and i5-10400F models are particularly highlighted for their overclocking potential and value for money. However, there are occasional reports of faulty units and issues with warranty claims. Overall, the Intel Core i5 Comet Lake series is recommended for those seeking a reliable and powerful processor for both gaming and productivity tasks.

Satisfied with the purchase

I considered options between AMD and i5 10400f. After watching many reviews, feedbacks, and tests, I decided to go with the 10400, as it is cheaper than the AMD counterparts. I did not regret it.
6 cores and 12 threads get the job done.
In games, the CPU is loaded to a maximum of half.
FPS increased significantly compared to my previous i5 6400.
Runs cool (doesn't heat above 60 degrees).
for such a price, there are no flaws.
good model, liked it.

Good model, all the pros and cons have been written long ago. It will unleash the potential of graphics cards up to and including RTX 2080 ti. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! What I found out only after purchase is the CPU cooling under the lid! There are two options for heat dissipation: thermal paste (9th generation i7 processors) and solder (10th generation i9 processors, but with a few locked cores). Processors with thermal paste are labeled SRH3D, and those with solder are labeled SRH79. Of course, solder provides better cooling (up to 15% according to tests). It's disappointing that most of the models from retailers are SRH3D.
9th i7 at a good price
Cooling under the cover - thermal paste, not solder

A good percentage for your money.

Excellent percent. Cold, productive, the price is quite good. Yes, yes, Amude top and all things, better, cooler and more. I have been using Intel processors since the very first PC and I was 100% satisfied with everything, and now I am completely satisfied. I recommend to buy this pro.
Good percent. Productive. For games and work with the same Adobe Premier is very suitable.
Didn't notice.
