Like some other modern cordless lawn mowers, the Karcher LMO 36-46 is equipped with a brushless motor. It is smaller, lighter, more reliable and more powerful than conventional motors. In addition, such engines consume battery power more efficiently, “stretching” it longer. It is thanks to the presence of a brushless motor that Karcher managed to “shove” the Push Assist function — an auxiliary drive to the left rear wheel. It does not turn the lawn mower into a fully self-propelled machine, but it helps to overcome obstacles and hills encountered on the way.

The mower has a fairly large working width — 46 cm (that is, any lawn can be mowed one and a half times faster than using conventional electric lawn mowers, which have an average width of about 30 – 32 cm). The cutting height can be adjusted from 20mm to 70mm. There are small combs on the sides of the body, which, like a rake, "rake up" the vegetation, sending it under the deck — right under the knife. This feature allows you to mow grass close to fences and curbs. Everything beveled is sent to a combination bag with a full indicator. It has a large volume (55 L) to be less distracted by shaking the grass, but can be folded so that the mower takes up less space when stored. You can mow lawns without a bag. If you install a mulching cap instead, the mowed vegetation will be finely chopped and spilled back onto the lawn as organic fertilizer.

The lawn mower is powered by a battery with a large capacity of 5 Ah. In the most economical mode (cutting dry lawn grass to a length of 1 – 2 cm), its charge can be stretched over as much as 650 m2 of area.
