The device supports both classic wired connection and wireless connection via Bluetooth 5.1. There is a Multi-Device system with the ability to simultaneously connect to three computer devices. For wireless connection, an increased capacity of the built-in Li-Pol battery (4000 mAh) is provided, due to which the continuous operation time is 10 days without RGB.

Soft and quiet Gateron Red mechanical switches are used for the buttons. These are linear switches with a good working resource, 50 million clicks. The Keychron K2 RGB Backlit Aluminium Frame Gateron (HS) Red Switch mechanical keyboard is compatible with any 3 or 5 pin switches. The Hot Swap system allows you to quickly and easily change switches manually, without a soldering iron.

The metal body insert Aluminium Frame significantly increases strength. The keyboard bends slightly and resists twisting loads. High-quality RGB Backlit lighting is integrated into the layout. Multi-color lighting can be adjusted using a combination of buttons. The keyboard has 84 buttons available, it is a modern TKL format with a size of 75%. When connected to a computer with a connecting cord, the polling frequency reaches 1000 Hz. For wired connection, a high-speed USB Type C port is used.
