The latest iteration of the sniper mouse from Asus's 2023 lineup. The model is part of the ROG enthusiasts' product line, belongs to the high-price segment, and according to the manufacturer, is considered one of the best "shooter" mice of the generation. Its excellence is manifested in two factors. It is equipped with an exclusive ROG AimPoint optical sensor that offers a sensitivity level of up to 36,000 DPI, and registers movement speeds of up to 650 inches per second (ips) with acceleration up to 50 G.
The sensor's capabilities significantly surpass the specifications of previous ROG Gladius mice, providing maximum precision and targeting speed in games like CS: GO, Valorant, Titanfall 2, or Quake 2. The asymmetrical, right-hand optimized shape ensures maximum comfort with various grips. Additional programmable buttons can be used for extra actions, like launching a hook, striking with a hand, or throwing a grenade, or for quick weapon switching.
As is standard in recent ROG mouse iterations, a special slot design for button switches allows them to be easily replaced if they fail or if alternative switches with different actuation resistance are needed. Both traditional 3-pin mechanical switches and 5-pin Omron optical micro switches are supported. The main buttons of the Asus ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint are made of durable, wear-resistant PBT plastic.
Teflon feet with a rounded shape ensure smooth gliding. The long, flexible, and light ROG Paracord cable provides better glide with minimal friction. As expected from the ROG series, the base of the body features the series logo with customizable RGB backlighting, which can be synchronized with other PC elements using the Asus Aura Sync system. Regarding connectivity, this is a true all-rounder, equipped with a wireless 2.4 GHz ROG SpeedNova receiver with reduced input delay, an energy-efficient Bluetooth receiver (version 5.1), and a classic USB cable. With wireless connection, the built-in battery provides about 5 days of continuous operation if the backlighting is turned off.

I am delighted. It might not be the best mouse in the world, but it's definitely the best mouse I've ever owned. I sat on the Bloody mouse for a very long time, almost 9 years. And she didn't die at all. In the end, I decided, that's all, I want a wireless rodent. And a very long selection of mice began. I went through a bunch of reviews very long and carefully. After a few weeks, my brain began to boil. I ordered the same mouse probably more out of desperation... And surprisingly, what was born out of desperation turned out to be a wonderful product. It is very light after use, the sensor is perfect, it keeps charging for a long time, and when the double click starts, I will be able to replace the candles without any soldering. If you want mechanical switches, please, if you want optical switches, please. Excellent delivery set. Light, stylish, excellent sensor, long-lasting charge, type-c paracord cable, bomb configuration. The backlight is synchronized with the motherboard and ARGB in the case. The white mark is a little, once a week you need to clean it using a product for monitors. I would like a polling frequency of more than 1000Hz, but then it would hold a charge less. |
I bought the ROG Gladius III Aimpoint White because I wanted a mouse that would be comfortable for both long work sessions and gaming. After a few weeks of daily use, I can say: it's one of those mice that just "stays out of your way" — it simply does its job and does it very well. The ergonomics are well thought out: the mouse fits softly into your palm, the thumb and pinky find support, and even after long sessions, there's no feeling of fatigue in the hand. The shape suits most medium and large grips — if needed, you can control the mouse movements easily and naturally. The Aimpoint sensor performs excellently: tracking is stable, without skipping or jumping, and the mouse responds precisely to the tiniest movements — this is especially noticeable in shooters and aiming. The materials and assembly feel "premium": the body has a pleasant finish, the surface isn't slippery, and the buttons sit tightly. Overall, the sense of reliability is strong — it seems like the mouse will last a long time. There are some downsides to be aware of: with strong squeezing, the body sometimes emits a slight creak — this doesn't happen during regular use but is noticeable if you press deliberately. The scroll isn't the quietest either — in complete silence, its clicking can be a bit annoying, especially during long document or page scrolling sessions. If you're looking for a mouse that fits comfortably in your hand, provides stable tracking, and pleasant clicks — it's definitely worth attention. There are some disadvantages, but they are cosmetic compared to the real advantages. And the switch swap is just top-notch, I replaced the standard ones with optical ones. Long-lasting charge, comfortable shape, swappable plugs, high-quality materials, soft paracord cable The case creaks a little when squeezed, the scroll is quite loud, and dirt collects on the side quite easily. |
After 5-6 months of use, all the plastic started to crack. Vaga, time to work Plastic, build quality |
