Wireless TKL keyboard with Hall effect magnetic switches—a fundamentally different type of switches using magnets and sensors instead of physical contact, capable of registering keystrokes with 0.1 mm precision. This opens up unique possibilities not available to traditional mechanical keyboards: adjustable actuation point from 0.2 to 3.8 mm for each key individually, dynamic Rapid Trigger response where a key activates and deactivates based on actual movement rather than a fixed threshold, and a mode allowing four actions per key depending on press depth—like a light tap for walking, a deep press for running.

Gateron 2.0 Magnetic switches with dual rail design are factory-lubed and support hot swapping, though they are only compatible with magnetic switches from the Keychron catalog. The Keychron Q3 HE keyboard case is completely made of 6063 aluminum, accounting for its weight of 1775 g—the heaviest among TKL models. A double gasket design with silicone padding between the case halves and an acoustic mat at the bottom dampens impact and reduces resonance. Triple connectivity options—Bluetooth 5.2 for three devices, 2.4 GHz wireless with 1000 Hz polling rate, and USB cable. A 4000 mAh battery provides up to 180 hours of usage. Firmware QMK with configuration via Keychron Launcher, OSA profile PBT keycaps, screw-in stabilizers, and keycap sets for macOS and Windows included.
