Lenovo's 2023 line of laptops has expanded to include the IdeaPad series, which brings together balanced laptops for study and work. All members of the family are distinguished by fairly small dimensions (case thickness 18 mm) and moderate weight (1.6 kg), while the plastic case complies with the military standard MIL-STD-810, which is additional confirmation of strength and resistance to mechanical stress.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15AMN8 laptops are based on the AMD Mendocino (Zen 2) platform with a Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 processor, at least 8 GB of RAM “on board” (and this is the latest generation DDR5 memory with an operating frequency of 5500 MHz and high bandwidth), and also an integrated graphics adapter Radeon 610M, which is suitable only for casual games. For data storage, an SSD M.2 solid-state drive is offered (depending on the modification, its volume ranges from 256 to 512 GB), and a 47 Wh battery is responsible for good autonomy, up to 11 hours away from outlets.

The battery claims to support USB C (Power Delivery) and fast charging: so, it is enough to connect it to the network for just 15 minutes to get another 2 hours of battery life. The laptops are equipped with a 15.6-inch screen with an IPS matrix, a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and basic brightness and contrast settings. At the same time, the display is considered safe for vision, which is confirmed by the TÜV Rheinland certificate. Among the additional features of the family models, it is worth highlighting the presence of a webcam with a shutter.
