Lenovo brand laptops represent the proprietary IdeaPad series and are positioned as a balanced budget solution for study or work. Despite the relatively small price tag, all members of the family have a shock-resistant case that complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard, and can also offer such practical little things as a webcam with a shutter, support for USB C (Power Delivery) and a balance of size and weight ( respectively thickness 18 mm and 1.6 kg).

All Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IAN8 laptops received a 15.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, standard Hertz (60 Hz) and basic image parameters. Features of the screen include TÜV Rheinland certification, which confirms its safety for vision even during long working sessions.
