A modern M.2 SSD drive that combines high performance and reliability thanks to the use of advanced technologies and a well-thought-out architecture. It is a representative of the NM family, in which the American manufacturer Lexar produces modern solid-state drives for gamers and professionals with an attractive price-quality ratio. Lexar NM790 is based on the Maxio MAP1602 controller, known for its efficiency and stability.
The device uses the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, which allows you to maximize the potential of the NVMe 1.4 protocol and provide impressive operating speeds. The read and write speeds of the drive reach 7400 MB/s and 6500 MB/s, respectively, making it equally suitable for both games and professional tasks. Dynamic SLC cache support provides high performance when writing data, and Host Memory Buffer (HMB) 3.0 technology provides improved interaction between the host system and the drive, minimizing delays and speed drops when writing large archives.

I've been using it for over a year. The SSD is used exclusively for games. It doesn't overheat, and it's fast. Although, the price today is shocking. Whether it's worth today's money - everyone decides for themselves. For the money (around 3,000 EUR) when I bought it - definitely yes.
