The basis of the TV is a NanoCell-panel with a diagonal size of 55" and a picture resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. With 8-bit colour depth and FRC dithering technology, it is capable of displaying over 1 billion colour shades. What's more, HDR-certified support expands the range of the colour spectrum reproduced on the screen, due to which the smallest details of the image are revealed to the viewer even in the darkest scenes. To heighten the effect, the model implements local dimming of individual areas of the screen. The LG Smart TV system onboard the TV panel provides access to online cinemas and a variety of applications.
