When using cutting discs of the specified size, the maximum cutting depth reaches 29 mm. The Makita DGA513ZJ angle grinder is equipped with a brushless motor featuring a "soft start" function and constant electronics that automatically maintain speed under load. The rotation speed of the attachment can be adjusted in the range of 3000 – 8500 rpm using a regulator. Safety is ensured by an electronic safety clutch (which shuts off the electric motor if rotation of the attachment stops) and a motor brake (which almost instantaneously stops the disc after releasing the start button). The tool comes with a plastic case, an additional handle (screws into the gearbox housing on...the right or left), and a protective cover, but without a battery and charger. To work with this angle grinder, a lithium-ion battery from the Makita 18V LXT family must be used. |
