Professional cordless circular saw powered by two batteries. Equipped with a brushless motor (net power 1700 W) with a soft start, eliminating jerks when turning on the engine, overload protection and the function of automatically maintaining speed under load. In the Makita DRS780Z circular saw, the saw blade is located to the left of the body - this design is more convenient if you need to clearly see the cutting line when sawing boards and sheet lumber.

The sole and protective cover are cast from lightweight aluminum alloy. When using the recommended size blades (∅185 mm), the maximum cutting depth reaches 65 mm (or 45 mm when sawing at an angle of 45°). The sole tilts up to 53°. This saw can be synchronized with some Makita vacuum cleaners so that the vacuum cleaner turns on simultaneously with the circular saw. Makita 18V LXT batteries required to power the tool and a charger are not included.
