The electric motor provides spindle speed up to 6000 rpm, two high-speed modes of operation are provided for the speed of work. Additionally, there is a mode with automatic speed and torque adjustment, which allows the drive to work in accordance with the actual load.
The Makita DUR189Z trimmer comes without battery and charger. In this case, the user has the opportunity to choose a battery with the optimal capacity, depending on the specific commitments. The battery platform is represented by the Makita 18V LXT format. This motokosa also has a function of reverse rotation of the spindle. The reverse allows you to unravel the mowing head if vegetation is wrapped around it. The cutting part is equipped with a reel with a fishing line with a diameter of 2.4 mm. The reel is semi-automatic. This trimmer received a telescopic rod, a loop-shaped handle provides a comfortable grip. The mowing head is equipped with both a protective cover and a stroke limiter.
