Angle grinder Makita GA5040C

This is a heavy duty angle grinder for professional use. It can be used for cutting and grinding hard materials of various nature. It also works well on metal surfaces. Thanks to a 1400 W motor, it provides a large torque, which allows cutting metal of considerable thickness and high hardness, natural and artificial stone, concrete (including high-strength), reinforced concrete and other dense mineral non-metallic materials.

The model has a relatively compact body, which allows you to work in hard-to-reach places. The Makita GA5040C angle grinder is equipped with a soft start motor and a Super-Joint-System clutch. Thanks to this, jerks and shocks that occur during operation are minimized, and the effect of a kickback is completely eliminated. Well balanced rotor and high quality gearbox guarantee minimum operating vibration.

Adjustment of position and fastening of a protective casing does not demand the specialized tool. Motor windings and bearings are protected against abrasive dust. In addition, there is a protection system against accidental restart. The machine is equipped with a long 2.5 m high-quality double insulated mains cable.
