Inside the thin body is a 1900 W motor. It has a "soft start" function (provides gradual acceleration of the nozzle to the operating speed without jerks) and a mechanical brake (quickly stops the disk when the motor is turned off).
The speed controller (2800 - 11500 rpm) allows you to use the Makita GA5091X01 grinder to perform a wide range of work and process different materials. Thanks to the short gearbox, which almost does not protrude beyond the spindle, you can make deep cuts (up to 31 mm) with this tool. The anti-vibration system in the form of a vibration-damping spacer between the gearbox and the body effectively does its job, reducing the load on your hands. The tool comes with an additional handle and one abrasive disc. The power cable is 2.5 m long.
