For your work, it would be better to take a Makita edging - you can work with one hand.

I bought an inexpensive but well-known brand for homework. I do all types of milling, but I haven’t really gotten into it yet.

there are no special advantages, a normal device for its money.

Short stroke and slight play of the guides: not fatal, but annoying - accuracy is poor when cutting grooves.

i purchased from the official dealers at makita-online.ru. The build quality is terrible!!! When plunging the router, it jams on the guides so much that there's no need to even lock it... There's a play of 2-3 mm, which is just unacceptable even for relatively precise work... The shaft rotates fine, no wobbling so far...

Simple, compact, and reliable, it works and works for years. If needed, it's easy to repair yourself. It's a workhorse for simple "on the fly" jobs, but for more serious tasks, a more expensive machine is needed.
