Winter tyres with a sporty character, designed for intensive use on passenger car wheels in the cold months of the year. The difference between the model and the fourth "Pilot" was a new tread pattern — an asymmetric design gave way to a directional vector, formed from wide arc-shaped blocks. The directional tread structure improves the tyre's flotation on loose snow and allows it to better grip slippery road surfaces.

The work of zigzag lamellas on the elements of the tread pattern, the edges of which form long hook edges, is aimed at strengthening the grip properties of the tyre. Drainage channels diverge from the central segment of the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA5 245/45 R18 100V treadmill, which provides excellent resistance to the effects of slashplaning and hydroplaning. The rubber compound of the model is made according to a special recipe with a high content of silica and special polymers — it has high elasticity, demonstrates tensile strength and boasts low rolling resistance. In addition, the tyre is quiet and comfortable in terms of driving performance.
