Model overview based on user reviews
The Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB is a highly praised gaming console, noted for its impressive performance and quiet operation. It offers fast game loading thanks to its SSD and delivers stunning 4K graphics. The console is compatible with previous generation games and features a comfortable gamepad. Users appreciate the Game Pass subscription, which provides access to a wide range of games at a lower cost compared to competitors. However, some users find the interface not intuitive and the storage capacity limited for extensive game libraries. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Xbox Series X is considered a powerful and cost-effective option for gamers, especially those without a powerful PC.

The console was not liked, there were a lot of problems. The only thing that might be liked here is the gamepad and Game Pass. Problems with the Game Pass Ultimate subscription; it doesn’t work even though it was activated on another account, but home mode was enabled. Couldn’t access GTA 5 online, and it’s also impossible to download games from Game Pass without the internet. Despite the attempts within the interface, which is terrible, I could only find the home mode with the help of YouTube. The price has risen to an unbelievable level. Currently considering selling the Xbox to buy something better. Xbox exclusives also disappoint with their quality; Forza isn't optimized, and Crossfire is very clunky and raw. Additionally, there's much less storage compared to competitors. While on PS5 you can insert any M.2 PC SSD, here it's only the proprietary one, which is unavailable for sale and very expensive. |
In general, it’s hard to look for reviews, but the ones I’ve seen stubbornly don’t provide some important information. I am both a pc player and a boxer from relatively recently (well, you get the idea) :). Of course, they will give you a PC for the price of a box so that you can easily play music as you like, use file managers and a bunch of other software. Nevertheless, for a gamer, the thing is far from useless. Screaming silence compared to a computer, even during load. The power is not prohibitive, but nevertheless. The price is compared to a computer. Dimensions. Gamepass. The browser there supports a keyboard mouse, guys, cool, the YouTube application could be demolished. There is no minijack at the back. Mostly the sound is either through the joystick or through the HDMI. The great secret about the games' support for keyboards. Sometimes you download 150 gigs to find out about support and get the hell out of it. Well, at least the Internet allows it. Yes, I know what they write somewhere. But they don’t write it everywhere. Few games support keyboard mouse. Adding ROMs costs a considerable amount. |
The current price is 45,590, and for this money, it's the best solution if you're not particularly interested in the "exclusives" of a competing brand. I've owned it since its release. 1) Silence, you won't hear it, maybe at night when there are no extraneous sounds. 2) Game pass is not a panacea, but there are a lot of good games there. If you missed most since 2013, then you certainly won't get bored. 3) The ability to buy games, subscriptions on third-party sites for a lower price. 4) Performance is truly impressive, leading to 5) Quick Resume - the ability to resume a game from where you left off. I put aside Hellblade for a week, then launched it and was extremely surprised by this feature. There was one bug with CoD Cold War, the game wouldn't launch for a week. Also, the interface is overloaded and not intuitive, but I didn't notice anything else annoying. |

Popular questions
Is a game included with the Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB?
The base configuration includes the console and one gamepad, while game availability depends on the selected variant. Look for the “+ Game” designation in the bundle name. Similarly, bundles with an additional gamepad or headset are available, so be sure to check the exact version name before ordering.Source:Specifications
Do you need a TV with HDMI 2.1 for the Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB?
For gaming in 4K at 60 frames per second, HDMI 2.1 is not essential. This interface is especially important if your TV supports 120 Hz and you want to achieve up to 120 frames per second in compatible games. In some performance modes, the frame rate is increased by reducing the resolution.Source:SpecificationsGeneral information
How much storage space is actually available for games?
On the Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB, approximately 802 GB of the advertised 1 TB is available; the rest is occupied by the system. Optimized games can be stored on an external USB drive, but they must be launched from the internal NVMe SSD or a compatible expansion card.Source:SpecificationsGeneral information
Will the console be noisy during gameplay?
The Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB operates very quietly, even under gaming load. During gameplay, the noise level remained within 33 dB, as confirmed by repeated owner reviews. The top ventilation opening should be left unobstructed, as a noticeable amount of heat is dissipated through it.Source:General information
How does the higher-end version differ from the cheaper Series S?
Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB is designed for 4K gaming at 60 frames per second, supports modes of up to 120 frames per second, and is equipped with a Blu-ray drive. Series S is less powerful and fully digital, so the higher-end version is more practical for a 4K TV and a collection of games on disc.Source:SpecificationsGeneral information
Can you quickly switch back to several games on the Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB?
Quick Resume allows you to save several games in a suspended state and continue from where you left off. In one scenario, switching between games took 11.4 seconds, while returning from the home screen took 2.7 seconds. In online titles, the feature usually returns you to the game screen rather than to the interrupted match.Source:General information
Can old games be played on the Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB?
Yes, the console supports more than 1,000 backward-compatible games, many of which load faster and run more stably than on Xbox One. Compatibility depends on the specific game, and further expansion of the list of older supported titles is already unlikely.Source:General information
