MikroTik wAP

Simple and affordable outdoor Wi-Fi 4 access point with Power-Over-Ethernet. This model is designed to distribute the Internet via Wi-Fi in the yard of a private house, in a park, on the summer terrace of a cafe or restaurant. The housing design allows the MikroTik wAP access point to be operated at temperatures from -40 to +70 °C. Protected against rain, snow, fog and condensation.

Also, this model can be installed indoors on the wall or ceiling. Its body has a hole for hidden cable entry, so the cable is not visible and does not spoil the neat look of the interior. Equipped with a Fast Ethernet LAN WAN port that supports PoE power supply (power supply with PoE injector included). There are also two built-in Wi-Fi antennas with a circular pattern (360°). The cover of the device is locked with a special non-standard screw that protects the access point from interference by strangers.

Thanks to the use of the RouterOS operating system with a Level 4 license, the user has access to many fine-tuning settings that are in demand by advanced IT specialists. The basis of the hardware configuration of the device is a MIPS-processor Qualcomm Atheros QCA9533, working in conjunction with 64 MB of RAM. Two antennas are capable of operating in MU-MIMO 2x2 mode, which provides fast simultaneous service to multiple client devices.
