Outdoor directional AP with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac in the 5GHz band) wireless network, powerful transceiver, and Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE In) capability. It is positioned as a product of the basic price category, which is designed to create wireless bridges according to the point-to-point scheme at a distance of up to 3.5 km. The efficient operation of the MikroTik SXTsq 5 ac access point is ensured by an improved dual-polarization directional antenna and a powerful hardware platform based on a quad-core CPU IPQ-4018.

The device runs on the RouterOS operating system with a third-level license. When purchasing a license of the fourth level, it is possible to work with several client points. For an incoming connection, a LAN port with a bandwidth of up to 1000 Mbps is provided. The manufacturer claims support for MIMO 2x2 technology, which gives a maximum theoretical wireless connection speed of up to 867 Mbps. The real maximum data transfer rate at a distance of up to 500 m is 400-540 Mbps. The device is protected from precipitation and condensation, operates at temperatures from -40 to +70 °C.
