The premium TP-LINK Archer BE400 router with integrated HomeShield cyber protection system. The 2025 model from the globally recognized Chinese company supports Wi-Fi 7 standard and a maximum transfer speed of 6.5 Gbps. Wireless transmission efficiency is achieved through modern MLO, MU-MIMO, Beamforming technologies. It operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies, available worldwide, and a 160 MHz bandwidth.

The design includes 6 adjustable antennas with standard gain for proper signal distribution in an apartment or a two-story house. The firmware includes EasyMesh seamless network functionality for expanded coverage. WPA3 security protocols prevent unauthorized access and hacking. Wired interfaces feature gigabit WAN and four LAN (3 x 1 Gbps, 1 x 2.5 Gbps). There is also a USB-A port at 5 Gbps for creating a local network storage or home media server. The model offers a full range of settings for private secure networks, traffic restrictions, and parental controls. All features can be conveniently managed through the Tether mobile app.

The TP-LINK Archer BE400 router is designed for full compatibility and more efficient work with network devices, mobile equipment, smart home systems, and other electronics. The classic case with a restrained design is equipped with six antennas and a set of technologies ensuring stable coverage in an apartment or a small office, as well as wireless network expansion thanks to EasyMesh support.

The model meets modern requirements and features a 2.5 Gbps WAN port, as well as four LAN sockets (one at 2.5 Gbps and three at 1 Gbps). This allows building a fast and reliable wired infrastructure for data exchange within the local network and for internet access. Wi-Fi 7 support ensures a very high connection speed, further increased by channel aggregation.

Data transmission occurs simultaneously in two bands, with a total speed reaching 6.5 Gbps: up to 688 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 5764 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.

Interesting Features

A web interface is traditionally provided for configuration, and the convenient Tether mobile app significantly simplifies router management for beginners. An additional advantage is the HomeShield cyber protection system, although some of its features are available by subscription.

The device supports the creation of guest networks for each band, content filtering, traffic control, and monitoring of connected clients. The USB 3.2 Gen1 port allows organizing a personal file server and accessing personal data and multimedia content remotely.
