Compact model for discreet installation on the inside surface of the windshield, fixed with an adhesive base. The recorder is made in a miniature cylindrical form factor with body dimensions of 95x40x31 mm. Its wide-angle lens with a field of view of about 140° is directed towards the road. The model records video in a maximum frame resolution of 2560x1440 pixels at 30 fps. In low ambient light conditions, the proprietary night mode is automatically activated.
MiO MiVue J30 is equipped with a 3-axis G-sensor, a durable and long-lasting supercapacitor as its own power source, and a Wi-Fi wireless communication module for wireless pairing with mobile devices. Wi-Fi is used here as an alternative to the lack of a built-in display - access to the recorder settings and video footage is provided through a proprietary utility from MiO. Videos are supposed to be stored in the memory of a microSD card with a capacity of up to 128 GB, but you will have to buy a data drive separately.

Wireless Access
Due to its compact design, the dashcam lacks its own screen, but instead offers a convenient alternative — built-in Wi-Fi. Through wireless connectivity, you can change settings and view recorded footage directly from your smartphone. To do this, simply install the MiO app.
Pass-Through Power
It's not possible to completely eliminate wires in the MiO MiVue J30, but the power connection is implemented neatly and practically. The cable from the car's cigarette lighter connects to the holder on the windshield, and from there, power is transmitted to the main dashcam unit through a pass-through port.
