On monitors with a 2K resolution, the GeForce GTX 1070 allows you to run any game at maximum graphics settings, and with 4K resolution at high settings. Buying this graphics card for a 1080p monitor and a processor weaker than the Core i7 is an unjustified waste. The only analogue of the GTX 1070 is the previous flagship GTX 980 Ti, while AMD has nothing to answer for now (Vega video cards are expected to be released).

The heat pack of the GTX 1070 at the reference core frequency is 150 W, but after the factory and, especially, manual overclocking, it can rise to 200 W. Therefore, a conventional air cooler with two fans may not be enough to keep the temperature of the graphics card within the allowed range. Overheating can lead to an emergency decrease in frequency, which levels out overclocking.

That is why the MSI GTX 1070 Sea Hawk X graphics card received a hybrid cooling system. The air turbine is complemented by Corsair's dropsy (sailboat logo on the fan). This decision made it possible to reduce the temperature of the graphics card to an impossible level - only 50 °C, while with an air dual-fan cooler it would have been 30 °C more.
