An esports monitor for competitive computer games where every additional frame per second counts. According to this parameter, MSI Optix MAG251RX boasts a high refresh rate of 240 Hz, which, coupled with an IPS panel response time of 1 ms, contributes to comfortable gameplay in highly dynamic shooters. The model's pseudo-ten-bit matrix has a diagonal size of 24.5 inches, broadcasts an image in Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels), covers 107% of the sRGB space and 84% of DCI-P3. The monitor has a night vision mode that allows you to increase the brightness and detail of dark scenes, ready-made graphics presets for diverse genres of computer games, NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility (adaptive sync to eliminate frame tearing) is implemented. Access to the monitor settings from a computer is opened...through the proprietary Gaming OSD software. And the Mystic Light utility controls the glow modes of the built-in RGB backlight. Adjustments in the design of the monitor lend themselves to the height of the screen and the angle of its inclination.

Assembled excellently, but the pixels are just from the "hug and cry" series...
19 October 2021
Personally, the RGB lighting was completely blocked by the base of the bracket for 2 monitors, and the USB ports on the hub were obstructed by the desk shelf. Fortunately, I don't need either. I deeply regret the purchase because the 240Hz effect didn't wow me, the seller from the "three-letter store" deceived me regarding the 10 bits (it's actually 8+2 here), as well as the claimed super brightness (400 nits is extremely budget-friendly for the HDR10 standard), and compared to my previous 22-inch 1920x1080 monitor, the pixels are just HUGE.
Brightness 400 nits. Frequency 240Hz. 8 full bits and FRC as a complement.

Mediocre product, returned due to a dead pixel
24 January 2022
I had a 60Hz monitor, switched to this one, and there is almost no difference. FPS fully depends on the graphics card; anything less than an RTX 2070 is not suitable for it, and only for CS: GO, for heavier games you need even more powerful hardware. Terrible backlight bleed (visible in the photo), there is no true black, no HDR, just maximum brightness (this is not HDR).
High frequency, 8 bit + FRC
Expensive, low-quality, useless RGB
