A relatively affordable 23.6-inch monitor from the MSI brand is a curved gaming solution with a resolution capability of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The model can be recommended for beginner gamers, fans of games on a budget or with hardware that supports high frame rates only at Full HD. The screen is based on a pseudo 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) VA matrix: it provides good static contrast (3000:1) and decent color coverage (claimed coverage of 105% of the sRGB space) with basic brightness reserve (up to 250 nits).
The MSI MAG 244C monitor features a refresh rate of 180 Hz and offers a rapid response time of 1 ms (MPRT). Further establishing its gaming status, it supports the Adaptive-Sync video adaptive synchronization technology and an abundance of profile options, including the ability to display a timer, crosshair, or FPS counter on the screen, as well as highlight dark parts of the frame (Night Vision function), which can provide additional advantages in gaming battles. The model comes with a basic stand allowing for tilt adjustment of the display only, plus it is also suitable for mounting on the wall (using VESA 100x100 mm mounts). Notably, it stands out for its eye safety, including the absence of flickering and the reduction of eye-straining blue light (TÜV Rheinland).
