The MSI PRO MP161 E2 mobile monitor captivates with its flexible placement. Its screen is supported by a folding stand at the rear of the case, which has a 1/4" thread for mounting the monitor on a tripod.
Full HD screen
The ergonomic holder allows you to adjust the screen position both in the traditional landscape orientation and in the portrait installation vector. The display here is a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a diagonal resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Its refresh rate is standard (60 Hz), and the color rendering is mediocre (about 53% of the sRGB "triangle"). In contrast, it is worth mentioning the proprietary MSI EyesErgo system for eye comfort - it includes flicker suppression and blue light filtering functions.
On-board connectors
The monitor is connected to video sources via onboard USB type C connectors (2 pcs.) and miniHDMI v 2.0. The standard cables are made in a convenient format with L-shaped connectors. The model can work as a second laptop screen, an additional display for a PC, or a means of displaying images from a connected smartphone or tablet. It is also quite suitable for working with game consoles, but this monitor is definitely not a gaming monitor.
Mobility
MSI PRO MP161 E2 boasts a thin and light case. Its minimum thickness is about 10.8 mm, and the weight is 750 g . A practical case is included for storing and carrying the monitor. Special mention should be made of the stereo speakers of 2 x 1.5 W format, allowing you to do without headphones. By the way, there is no wired connector for them.
